How To Peel Chickpea At Home?
Soak chickpeas in cold water overnight (or soak quickly for one hour in boiling water). Drain and pat the chickpea. Stir 1½ teaspoons baking soda per 2 cups (400 grams) of chick peas. Place the chickpeas in the cauldron, heat with medium heat for 3 minutes, then cover with plenty of cold water and boil. Lower heat to medium low, simmer for hours or until chickpea is very soft. Most of the skin will fall off, you can use the cooking water drained; finger to remove chickpea skin.
